Blouberg is a beautiful destination located within walking distance from the beach giving nearby homes a spectacular view of the Atlantic Ocean. It is known for its very popular surfing and kite surfing spots. Further activities include trails for running, walking, and cycling.

The area is a very popular tourist destination in Cape Town, offering an array of restaurants overlooking the sea, providing a buzz of activity. Their beautiful white sand beaches have picturesque views over Robben Island (7km offshore) and Table Mountain, which is why it was granted the title of being the most Instagrammable spot in South Africa.

Canal Walk Shopping Centre is just a few minutes' drive away and it is loaded with a wide range of stores, restaurants and it even has a cinema. The two very popular Waterfront centres are namely, V&A waterfront, which is only 20km's away, as well as Eden on the Bay. Both attractions offer a large variety of shops, restaurants, and modern properties to stay in. Other nearby malls include Eden on the Bay, Seaside Village shopping mall, Bayside Mall and Table Bay Mall.

Blouberg also has a very efficient MyCiti bus service that transports you all over Cape Town, making travelling to the CBD a lot easier.

Restaurants that are highly recommended in this area are called Ons Huisie and On the Rocks, offering immaculate food and scenic views of both the ocean and the mountains. Other favourites in this area include: Jerry's Burger Bar, Café Blouberg, Cattle Baron Tableview Blouberg, Blowfish Restaurant, and The Big Bay Waffle Company.
